Anger and Irritability in a 45-Year-Old Man: Is Financial Stress the Root Cause?

I am a 45 year old man and I have been feeling extremely angry and irritable for the past few months. It all started when my wife and I began arguing about our finances. We have always been careful with money, but lately, every little expense turns into a fight. I find myself snapping at her over things like grocery bills or a small impulse purchase. I also get irritated at work, especially with my younger colleagues who seem carefree and irresponsible with their spending. I have trouble sleeping and I often wake up feeling tense. I used to enjoy gardening, but now even pulling weeds makes me furious. I don't understand why I am so on edge. Could this be related to financial stress, or is there something else going on? I want to stop feeling this way before I damage my relationships.
